Core Portfolio Design (henceforth “Core”) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personal and financial information.

Types of Information we Collect

Core collects two types of information from our customers and website visitors (henceforth “Users”). With your consent, we collect Personal Data from you solely for the purpose of providing our services. We may also collect anonymous/non-personal information.

a. Personal Information

Personal Data is information that refers to Users specifically. With your consent, we may gather personal information from you. The type of Personal Data we may collect and maintain includes (but is not limited to): Name (depending on subscription type), Home province/state, E-mail address, Date of birth or age, Sex, Certain behavioral information (e.g. expected future savings). The choice to provide us with personal and financial information is always yours. However, your decision to withhold particular details may limit the services we are able to provide to you.

b. Anonymous/Non-Personal Information

Core routinely collects anonymous/non-personal information. Anonymous/non-personal information is information that cannot be associated with or traced back to a specific individual or business entity. For example, our web servers collect some anonymous/non-personal information automatically when you visit Core’s web services. Gathered electronically, this information may include the pages you visited, the type of web browser you are using, the level of encryption your browser supports, and your Internet Protocol address. The information we collect may be used for research and analytical purposes, but not before it is completely anonymized.

We use Cookies exclusively through web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). Any use of Cookies - or of other tracking tools - unless stated otherwise, serves to identify Users and remember their preferences, for the sole purpose of providing the service required by the User.

Processing and Protecting your Data

a. Methods of Processing

Core processes your Personal Data in a proper manner and shall take appropriate security measures according to industry standards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

b. Place

The Data is processed at Core’s operating locations and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located.

c. Retention Time

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that Core suspend or remove the data permanently.

d. Protecting the Information we Collect

We take the security of your information seriously. We use technical and administrative security measures such as but not limited to firewalls, AES-256 encryption, secure authentication procedures, password hashing, among others, to maintain the security of your online session.

When Information may be Disclosed

Core is obliged to keep your personal information confidential except: 1) when authorized by you; 2) when required or permitted by law. With your consent, we will share information with other Core businesses or suppliers who perform services on our behalf.

Our Employees

In the course of daily operations, access to private, sensitive, and confidential information is restricted to authorized employees who have a legitimate business purpose and reason for accessing it. All employees of Core are required to abide by the privacy standards we have established.

Outside Service Providers

At Core, we sometimes contract outside organizations to perform specialized services. Our trusted service suppliers may at times be responsible for processing and handling some of the information we receive from you. When we contract our suppliers to provide specialized services, they are given only the information necessary to perform those services.

Corporate Structure

If our company or our assets are acquired by another company, or in the event of a merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganization, or liquidation, we may transfer, sell, or assign to third parties, information concerning your relationship with us.

Your Choices

We may send periodic site-related alerts, weekly summaries, notifications, newsletters, promotions, or other information via email. You may choose to unsubscribe from our communications in the email you receive.

a. Legal action

The User's Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by Core, in Court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of Core or the related services.

b. Additional information about User's Personal Data

In addition to the information contained in this privacy policy, we may provide the User with additional and contextual information concerning particular services or the collection and processing of Personal Data upon request.

c. System Logs and Maintenance

For operation and maintenance purposes, Core and any third party services may collect files that record interaction with Core (System Logs) or use for this purpose other Personal Data (such as IP Address).

d. Information not contained in this Policy

More details concerning the collection or processing of Personal Data may be requested from Core at any time.

e. The Rights of Users

Users have the right, at any time, to know whether their Personal Data has been stored and can consult Core to learn about their contents and origin, to verify their accuracy, or to ask for them to be supplemented, cancelled, updated, or corrected.

f. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Core reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom.
